Forever shocking, disturbing, raising questions. What started as an invisible ghetto of orders and regulations in 1933, ended in devastating and unimaginable systematic murder of millions innocent people. Step by step, we trace the historical context, beginning our journey at the train station Prague - Bubny where the transports were leaving from. It is now being turned into a Memorial of Silence, reminding of the role of passive silent majority that accompanied the organizers of Shoah.

An hour drive brings us to Terezin, originally an amazing geometrical defense fortress. Later, it has been used as a prison and a Jewish ghetto. Even though not operating as an extermination camp, more than 33,000 Jewish people died here and close to 90,000 were sent East to be murdered. 

Terezin played a pivotal role in the Nazi propaganda. When Red Cross came to inspect the ghetto, the Nazis opened cafes, banks and shops, printed worthless money and had concerts organized by prisoners. At this opportunity, a film was made to be used by Nazi propaganda.
